MOSCOW, Dec 14 (PRIME) – Izhstal’s sales of calibrated rolled products grew by 10% on the year in November, of high precision shaped sections by 83%, of steel with a special surface finish by 117% and of hot-rolled products remained flat, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Output of Izhstal, part of metals producer Mechel, grew by 5% on the year to 342,000 tonnes in January–November.
Production of construction steel alloys with and without nickel rose by 16% and 31% respectively. Output of stainless steel with nickel rose by 13%, of high-speed cutting steel by 12%, of electrical steel by 18%. Production of carbon and alloyed tool steel increased by 25% and 42%, respectively.
